This pair of vintage mid century modern diamond wire lounge chairs designed by Harry Bertoia (American, 1915-1978) for Knoll are circa 1970. Originally designed by Bertoia in 1952, the industrial material and sculptural form of this iconic chair has become a fixture of American mid century modern design. The chairs have welded steel rod construction and this set features a silver diamond seat and base. The airy nature and sculptural profile of this classic chair makes it the perfect furniture accent for any space. CONDITION Excellent vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use.
