While a version two of the 38 Special was not necessarily on my list of priorities, it was born because of a program issue in my original design file of the 38 special. But instead of simply re-creating, the original, I decided that this was a prime opportunity to implement some new ideas while retaining most of the original design.Tweak this, trim that, move this, update that…The 38V2 features a new battery door that is both easier to remove and more aesthetically pleasing. The scalloped pockets are slightly deeper, adding a new visual element and providing new space for upcoming pattern options.The button face design is the same, ensuring that all currently available aftermarket options are still usable.I hope that it is as well received as its predecessor and that it will pave a new road for new options.The original version will not be discontinued, and the original patterns will not be transferred to the V2.
