DT AERO 40

40mm deep carbon fiber wheels are a great choice if you live somewhere windy or like climbing mountains but still want a set of aero wheels. Our Aero 40 wheels with DT Swiss hubs are an even better choice. With our excellent carbon fiber layup matching the fine manufacturing of DT Swiss hubs. Our Aero rims feature a mix of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fiber. We use this layup as we based our Aero rims on our great selling Fast and Light rims. Our Fast and Light rims were constructed using only Toray T700 carbon fiber. By missing the two types of carbon cloth, we now have a set of wheels that weigh around 100g less than our FL series.We have still though managed to keep the wheels strong and stiff, we have also used the same modern wide tubeless ready aero shape. Our wheel rims work with your tires to help stop the air breaking up around them.
