It does not have optional AUTO-DIMMING (AKA Electrochromic) feature that is added to some vehicles as an extra option. Howevere, if you do not care about the auto-dimming feature you may still order this less epensive item and only connect the Heat Prong Connectors and leave the auto-dimming box connectors unconnected. You will have heat function but you will not have the auto-dimming function. It is IMPERATIVE to note that Audi's of these series do have different side view mirror options from factory such as heated, auto-dimming, blue-tinted mirror versus clear, and small passenger side option that affect the size and shape of the glass.
