The Carbide3D Air Assist kit is designed to make machining metal easier by delivering compressed air to the cutting zone, blowing away chips and cooling the material. Keeping debris away from the spindle reduces wear on the endmill and minimizes the risk of metal chips clogging the endmill, improving the overall reliability of the machining process. Note: If you are not regularly machining metals, this accessory will not provide a significant benefit.
