The Complete Ford Barn-Find Trilogy

Three incredible paintings. Fourteen years in the making. One amazing find. Michael released "Big Blocks Behind the Barn", coincidentally the very first painting in his Muscle Car Landscapes Series, as a stand-alone piece in 2006. Thirteen years later, he decided to build on that initial scene with "Blue Blocks Behind the Barn". The unprecedented challenge was two-fold; since naturally continuing the scene to the right would not work esthetically, he had to go to the left of "Big Blocks ...". Even that did not solve the issue of the low horizon line in the first painting. Technically, this made both "Blue Blocks Behind the Barn" and "Blue Bloods Behind the Barn" very challenging. Michael's solution was to add a hill, giving him much more ground to cover, and giving the viewer much more land to explore.
