The EDC Sling is inspired by and modified from the FSBE2 (Force Reconnaissance System - Block 2) Modular Assault Pack (MAP).The MAP is designed to be a versatile and adaptable pack for carrying essential gear and equipment on missions. Typically, the MAP is a small MOLLE pack meant to attach to a tactical vest or a larger backpack, lacking a shoulder harness. Therefore, we chose to transform it into a compact sling bag rather than a traditional backpack. This modification enhances its portability and makes it an ideal EDC pack for carrying various compact gear, aligning with the original concept of the MAP.
