FLOWERS SEEDS -French Hollyhock -Zebrina
Grow Zebrina Hollyhock - a showy, tall perennial with white to lavender flowers and deep green foliage. Great for cut flowers and attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Known as French Hollyhock. Start Hollyhock from flower seeds early for better results. Use quality mix and place seeds on surface, keeping moist. Directly sow Zebrina seeds in moist soil and lightly cover with garden soil. Transplant or move young plants to new positions in garden. In the first year, the root system establishes, and in the second year, a colorful show begins. Water and fertilize during bloom season. After bloom, cut stalks back to 3-4 inches above ground. Plants may produce a second bloom in late summer or early fall.Flower SpecificationsSeason: PerennialUSDA Zones: 5 - 9Height: 48 inchesBloom Season: SummerBloom Color: White and purpleEnvironment: Full sun to partial shadeSoil Type: Well-drained, pH 5.8 - 7.2Planting DirectionsTemperature: 65FAverage Germ Time: 21 - 28 daysLight Required: YesDepth: D
