This pepper is known as Kashmiri Chilli and it's also referred to as Indian chilli pepper. It can be used in powdered form, similar to paprika. It's a popular heirloom seed variety in India."Grown in India, these Kashmiri chilli pepper seeds are known for their mild heat and beautiful deep red color. The peppers are long and slim with a slight curl at the tip, and have thin flesh which makes them easy to dry. Once dried, they can be ground into a powder, similar to paprika, and used in a variety of dishes." Green Thumb Tip!Sow seeds indoors ¼" deep. Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm.
