Stalks of this delicious lettuce variety are tangy flavored, firm yet tender and crisp. Green tango lettuce is a loose-leaf variety that somewhat resembles curly endive in appearance; broad green leaves begin to grow very frilly edges, but are longer with darker green colors, especially around edges.
