
Wildcat Bench Burner
The Wildcat Bench Burner is a totally surface mixed burner that offers a powerful flame that remains gentle enough to use with colored glass and dichroic glass. The wider flame produced by the Wildcat allows for solid borosilicate work up to 1 1/2” thick and solid soft glass work up to 2” thick. Named after the rugged World War II fighter plane of the same name, the Wildcat features a solid brass body construction with a stainless steel tube matrix. The tube matrix features 19 fuel ports surrounded by ample oxygen porting. The stand itself is designed for ease of use and places the burner head at a 45° angle. The connection of the body to the stand is made with a ball joint, allowing for an increased or decreased tilt of 15° to articulate the head in virtually any direction or rotation. This allows the burner to have excellent positioning capabilities.
