Beauty and the Beast

With a dazzling display of brilliant color and acrobatic skill, the lilac-breasted roller flashes over the brush and, for an instant, is perfectly contrasted by the rough textures and gnarly horns of the mighty cape buffalo. In "Beauty & the Beast," I  strove to capture all of the stunning details of a chance interaction between two highly diverse species on the African plains.
