The summer weather compound and the directional tread design work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The directional tread design features a solid center rib and circumferential and lateral grooves that manage to find firm grip on such surface conditions. The wide circumferential and curved lateral grooves also prevent hydroplaning by actively dispersing water from beneath the tire’s footprint. The tire, however, is not suited for winter weather conditions as the tread design and compound are unable to maintain the traction on ice and snow-covered road surfaces.
