Michelin offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model. The tire was manufactured using a silica-based sunflower oil enriched Helio+ tire compound. This tire compound provides excellent dry, wet and winter weather traction and it enhances the winter weather road gripping ability significantly. The sunflower oil compound increases the winter weather (snow and ice) road grip compared to the Pilot Sport A/S 3 tire model. The asymmetric tread pattern also maintains constant road contact thanks to the Variable Contact Patch 3.0, offering a safer year round driving capability.
