2021 Chardonnay Gavin Vineyard

This Chardonnay grows on the rolling hills of Carneros, overlooking the San Pablo Bay, on a portion of our ranch called Gavin Vineyard. The Gavin Vineyard is comprised of two small blocks on the Napa side of the Carneros Appellation. These low-yielding vines produce wines with concentrated flavors. Barrel fermented and aged sur-lie for 10 months in 30% new oak, this vintage has a pleasant aroma with notes of minerality and pear. Restrained and delicate on the palate, this Chardonnay evokes apple and citrus with light toasted oak, and has a crisp, clean finish.
