Drosera adelae
Drosera adelae, or the Lance-Leaved Sundew, is a tropical carnivorous plant known for its long, green leaves covered in red, sticky tentacles. New leaves stand upright, then settle down as they mature. In strong light, the leaves can turn reddish-bronze and grow more compact. It enjoys high humidity, partial shade, and a sandy peat mix. One cool trait? It often sends up baby plants from its roots, quickly filling out a pot or forming a small colony. The star-shaped red to orange-red flowers appear on tall, curling stalks from summer into fall. Though it rarely sets seed, it’s easy to propagate from cuttings. Despite being tropical, D. adelae can handle cooler temps and even light frost—often bouncing back from the roots. Great for terrariums and beginners alike, this sundew is a reliable and easy grower. This product is considered a temperate plant. Please see our Shipping and Guarantees policy for cold/hot weather shipping guidelines. Most of our products come with multiple shipping
