The Forked Sundew - T Form, Drosera binata, is a showy, medium-height sundew with upright, single forked leaves, that can occasionally stretch outward in a T, but usually Y-shape. The leaves first emerge green, but in full sun develop red coloration, which gives them a gorgeous bronzy look. The leaves remain short and upright. It is a robust grower and readily spreads from its roots, filling its pot or developing a nice colony. It is very effective at luring and trapping, and frequently has lots of insect activity around it. It is a temperate plant dying back to its roots as cool weather approaches, and re-emerges from resting buds on its roots in the Spring. New leaves unroll much like the fronds of a fern, and are produced throughout the year. There is a second noticeable flush of leaves in the Fall. It can tolerate a light frost. It
