Ease to Grow: EasyDormancy: YesParental Native Range: Florida and Hong KongZones: 6-8 (5-9) An outstanding, eye-catching, medium-sized sundew hybrid, Drosera filiformis floridana x sp. Lantau Island. It forms a large rosette with long paddle-shaped leaves of deep reddish orange color. Tentacles are numerous with large sparkling "dew drops". It is a vigorous grower and spreads readily. It prefers open, sunny, boggy conditions in peaty soils. The blossoms are sterile and pink on multi-flowered scapes. Typically there are several scapes at a time, and they are long lasting.  It can flower at different times of the year, but more profusely in the summer months. Allow for a winter rest for best growth. This hybrid is an excellent little terrarium plant. It is easy to grow, and is a great beginner's plant.
