It is a large, semi-upright grower with crimson red leaves and tentacles. It is very robust and an easy-grower. It flowers profusely. It prefers open, sunny, boggy conditions in peaty soils. The blossoms are white to pale pink on multi-flowered scapes. It forms clump colonies for the roots. Typically there are several scapes at a time, and they are long lasting. It can flower at different times of the year, but more profusely in the summer months. This hybrid is an excellent little terrarium plant. It is easy to grow, and is a great beginner's plant.
