It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather. It is excellent in the terrarium, and shaded greenhouse. It can grow quite large. It was originally described in 1839. Unless size specifies "potted", plants are shipped bare-root, wrapped in damp sphagnum moss.
