Its large, speckled pitchers can be over 18" with wide mouths the size of coffee cups when fully mature. The hood is narrow and the wings are wide and ruffled. It is heat tolerant and does well in a window. It is quite good at catching large insects, such as: stink bugs, wasps and yellow jackets.  It is a fast grower. Stems can be trimmed to keep the plant bushy, and to start cuttings. It is a great house plant, that can be grown outdoors in the warm weather. It is suitable for beginners. This clone has been in the hobby for a long time.  It is male. Nepenthes x Miranda is a complex hybrid, most likely the cross N. (northiana x maxima) x maxima. It is a highland.
