Rye Quilt Pattern

Based on a traditional friendship block, Rye is a fresh interpretation in two tones. Of course you could use many fabrics, but using just two can maximize the impact. Project is beginner-friendly, foundation paper pieced, and includes two (easily adaptable) project sizes made from two block sizes. Project Sizes 60" x 70" (Large), 36" x 48" (Small) Fabric Pick two fabrics to make this striking motif come to life. Use solids (or nearly solids) to sharpen the impact or select prints to soften and add texture. Project examples with lighter and darker placements are included to help you visualize the possibilities. For a scrappy look, use an assortment of prints, colors and/or textures.
