Given the overwhelming success of my Carpe Diem (Seize the Day!) coins, I designed a companion coin which follows the same theme of making the most of today because time is fleeting and tomorrow is uncertain. The Carpe Noctem (Seize the Night!) coin is somewhat "darker" and more macabre in its design, reminding the holder that: Time destroys all things ~ Tempus Edax Rerum, Death conquers all ~ Mors Vincit Omnia, and It is how well you live that matters, not how long ~ Quam Bene Vivas Refert Non Quam Diu... with an instruction to go and Seize the Night! ~ Carpe Noctem Carpe Noctem Coins are 39mm in diameter, and approximately 2.7mm thick (10 gauge). The Carpe Noctem Coins are minted in the USA, by America's oldest mint founded in 1835.
