George Catches a Fish original pastel painting of a great blue heron

  Great blue herons occupy a dear place in my heart. I grew up in Florida on a canal and there was a great blue heron that would visit us regularly. My older brother Marty named him George. That name stuck to any great blue heron I would forever see. Miss you, George! I use the highest quality professional art materials in all my artwork. For this piece, I used both Stabilo Carbothello and Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils for detailing, and PanPastels on Pastelmat 360 g/m2 (170 lb). Most of my drawings of this size take me 10-16 hours to complete. Please note this original comes unframed. I need to capture a new photograph of it without the frame.
