New Holland honey eater original pastel painting

This New Holland honey eater drew my attention because her simple colors had a lovely contrast with the colorful background. I was in a tropical mood on that sunny day in Provence, France, and had a blast creating this piece. I use the highest quality professional art materials. I used both Stabilo Carbothello and Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils for detailing, and PanPastels on Pastelmat. Most of my drawings of this size take me 10-16 hours to complete.
