South of France village of Volx original pastel painting

I took the original photograph one morning while walking around our neighborhood in Volx, France. This is a very small village in the south of France, surrounded by rolling hills. I loved our life there, and while I do enjoy the beauty of New York... there's just something about those old Provencial villages. I use the highest quality professional art materials in all my artwork. For this piece, I used both Stabilo Carbothello and Faber-Castell Pitt pastel pencils for detailing, and PanPastels on Pastelmat. Most of my drawings of this size take me 10-16 hours to complete.
