Whole bean coffee We roast to order on Mondays and Wednesdays and ship the same day. Orders will be included in a roast if they’re received by 4pm Eastern Time the day before. Origin: Ethiopia Region: Sidama Locality: Wensho Woreda Washing station: Dale Producers: 750 local farmers Elevation: 1750 - 2000 masl Process: Washed, dried on raised beds Varieties: Ethiopian landraces Tasting notes: Floral, black tea, sweet lime The Dale washing station serves over 750 producers in the Wensho woreda, located in the Sidama region of southern Ethiopia. Farmers grow local landrace varieties between 1750 and 2000 meters, with an average farm size of roughly one acre. After de-pulping, the seeds are fermented for 36 - 48 hours in cement tanks, and then dried for 12 - 15 days on raised beds. The profile of this coffee is classic Sidama, delicate and aromatic with flavors of white flowers, black tea, and lemon.
