Carrington Farm’s Organic Ghee is a great alternative to unsalted butter! GREAT FLAVOR – We start by heating organic butter from grass-fed cows until the water is removed and the milk solids and lactose are browned. These browned solids are then removed to produce the buttery, nutty & delicious butterfat known as ghee! WHY GHEE? – Ghee is a source of fat-soluble vitamins and fatty acids that support immune function, bone health and vision. MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT COOKING – With Ghee, also known as clarified butter, you can cook over medium-high heat up to 450° F for a delightful buttery flavor and aroma, without it smoking and burning like butter. NO REFRIGERATION – Ghee does not need to be refrigerated; it can be stored at room temperature. Packaging may vary.
