Golden aspens glow in the evening light along Forest Service Road 390 near Winfield, Colorado. As I set up my camera to capture this incredible scene, chilly winds blew through the basin signaling of the season soon to come. My mind was present in the moment. All that I could hear was the light clattering of the aspen leaves and the soft sound of Clear Creek trundling down the valley just to my left. There really is nothing more liberating than submersing ones self in a crisp clear fall day in the alpine. My recommended printing medium: metal or silver halide paper will make the leaves pop
