Winter Vines | photogravure print - The Weekly Edition

Winter Vines I love to walk around the area in Portland, Oregon where I live and see photographs simply.  I find this activity similar to the way I work when I am traveling. it is simple but not easy.  I find it important to learn to make meaningful work close to home, of the familiar. I need to make photographs everyday, and I am lucky to be living that dream Hand-pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel  Noir 55981, and Burnt Umber inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper. I have decided on a chine collé using Awagami Kitakata washi. I printed an edition of 6 numbered prints and  2 A/P prints. Hand-pulled print by Ray Bidegain Chine collé Limited edition of 6 7"x 7" inches on an 11 x 15.5" sheet. Signed numbered and titled by the artist on the lower front.
