These will hold a total of twenty (20) 1" x 6" wood boards (you provide). We recommend cedar decking boards for durability. The boards are secured to brackets with screws, and can be removed to access your compost for turning and removal of your organic black gold. At a height of three feet tall, the compost bin is easy to work with while providing a working capacity of up to 48 cubic feet. We recommend a maximum dimension of 48" long by 48" wide, but this can be altered to fit the available space. Pro tip: Leave a few boards on one side unattached for easy access to compost pile.
