About Why We Love It We have a new barrel from Bull Run for our sought after Bull Run Barrel aged coffee! This barrel was originally a rye barrel that Bull Run used for finishing one of their limited-run, specialty whiskeys. It is a really fun twist on that classic spirit. We’ve taken a Bull Run Rye oak barrel and used it to age our green coffee for a minimum of a week. This infuses the essence of the aromas of the rye to transform an Ethiopian Sidamo into a complex melange of flavors for a truly special treat. You will pick up out of this world banana and walnut notes from the coffee along with the oaky whiskey flavors imparted by the barrel.
