Kenya Kianderi

Big, juicy, bright Kenyan flavor; if that's your jam, this is your perfect coffee. Grown in the incredibly rich, red volcanic soil near the base of Mt. Kenya, this lot hails from the Kianderi Factory. This factory processes hand-picked cherries from around 1,100 small-holder farmers, mostly of Kikuyu ethnicity. The dry aroma really packs a punch with brown sugar and sweet citrus. The cup is full of sweet layers of flavor- ripe peaches, clean white sugar and grape candy. It's acidity is well-rounded and pleasing, and at room temperature the flavor is reminiscent of tropical mango or guava juice.    We roast and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All orders placed before 10AM ship that day.
