Kenya Kianderi

The acidity is well-rounded and pleasing.  Coffee Details Grown in the incredibly rich, red volcanic soil near the base of Mt. Kenya, this lot hails from the Kianderi Factory. This factory processes hand-picked cherries from around 1,100 small-holder farmers, mostly of Kikuyu ethnicity.      In previous years we've had the opportunity to visit the amazing Gachatha washing station and a few of the 1,100 farmers that make up the Gachatha factory. We purchased this AB lot from the week 14 out-turn from the Gachatha washing station.  This coffee truly delivers all the juicy, rich, candy-like sweetness we could hope for. The acidity is rounded and the body is clean and balanced, making this Kenyan a true treat for your morning cup!   Brew Recipes
