Kenya Mathareini

On our recent trip to Kenya this little lot really jumped off the cupping table and we are excited to offer it to you! The flavor is like a ripe, juicy plum that drips down your chin when you bite into it. The sweetness is balanced and lush; not crazy bright, but more of a brown sugary, refined sweetness. Sparkling grape juice also makes an appearance. The acidity is rounded and balanced. This coffee is made up of many small-holder farms and hails from the Mathareini washing station in the Nyeri region of Kenya.   We roast and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All orders placed before 10AM ship that day.
