Peru Esperanza

We are pleased to release the very first single estate micro-lot we have ever brought in from Peru. Peruvian coffees are known for their creamy body and dominating chocolate/almond flavor, but most Peru's we had tasted in the past did not live up to the sweet, clean and complex flavor profile we seek out. This lot was different. Sweet, juicy pear notes jump out of the cup. Toffee and sugar-browning are the secondary characteristics, along with that classic Peruvian dark chocolate flavor also coming through. The body is full, balanced and surprisingly clean.  It is a versatile coffee that works great as drip or espresso.    We roast and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All orders placed before 10AM ship that day.
