Rwanda Ibisi Mountain

Just a short drive down the road from the Nyungwe Forest, which is thought to be the headwaters of the Nile river, is the Ibisi Mountain Hills washing station. Founded by Bernard Uwitije in 2015, Bernard saw the potential for quality in the region and has been producing outstanding coffee since. We are proud to offer the Ibisi as our first ever Rwandan offering. When freshly ground, notes of brown sugar and clove come to mind. Brewed, the coffee has a rhubarb sweetness that as it cools turns to apricot and honey. This is a beautiful, slightly earthy coffee that has a balanced sweetness and makes a great dip or pourover.   We roast and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All orders placed before 10AM ship that day.
