The Balvenie distillery is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Balvenie still grow their own barley and keep faith with a traditional malting floor, the last of its kind in the Scottish Highlands. Matured for 14 years in traditional oak casks, the Balvenie is then transferred to the rum casks. This process imparts a smooth, honeyed character, while adding unique notes of toffee and fruit from its innovative cask finish.
