Secure the casket lid in the open position Top supports secure the casket lid in the open position and prevents the lid from opening too far. Use a pair of top supports for each casket--one top support at the head end, and one at the foot end on both full and half-couch models. A complete top support assembly includes one support arm and two mounting brackets--one bracket on each end of the arm. Mounts secure to the arm with a special screw that allows the arm to pivot on the bracket. The mounting brackets come in two styles: flush mount and side mount. We've put together this universal top support bundle as a convenience to our customers. This kit will fit any casket lid design configuration you choose.
