1920's Griswold No. 9 Tite Top Dutch Oven (834) with Large Block Logo and EZ Clean Low Lid (2552). 7 Quarts
See our full catalog at www.castandclarabell.com This large #9 Griswold Dutch Oven was brought in from Ohio where it was owned by a family that kept it at their cabin for cooking on hunting trips. It was made in the early 1900‘s and when found had some rust on the inside. We tanked it for a few days and eliminated all of the rust and brought it back to life. The inside of the dutch is gorgeously smooth. It does NOT sit flat so while no oven will be an issue, heating on glass or induction will take more time than gas or coil. However for its price, this is a GREAT value! See for yourself, its not 100% perfect, but who is?? You‘ll love this on your hearth or campfire to make soups, chili, and breads. - DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a collection.
