Amazing! Antique #14 handled gate marked round griddle! We've never seen one like this. PERFECT pizza peel, or griddle for the cabin!

You don't normally see a handled griddle of this size and quality!  Not only is it likely over 120 years old, but it has a handle, unlike most griddles of this size.  The maximum size we see a handled griddle is typically a #12 so its very unique.  There are raised letters on the bottom (likely NE9) but its difficult to source a foundry.  It is impressive in size and in beauty. There are some usual sulfur pittings on the bottom from where it was used over a VERY large eyelet on a wood stove.   It moves on glass so while its usable for all cook tops its best for gas or electric coil.  This griddle is perfect for fireside cooking, or making wood fired pizzas, and is an amazingly unique tool for your gourmet kitchen.
