Its a raised number 8 which is PERFECT for pancakes and bacon! The handles sit off the surface so they are easier to handle when over two burners. Its often referred to as a fish fry, or sad iron heater, as is indicative of its function, but previous customers have told us they use them for conversation starting center pieces as well! Perfect for cooking bacon, pancakes, or other proteins. Ready to use! DISCLAIMER: We have prepared this piece to be ready to use or displayed in a col
