The Rock Band

My latest work in manga character design. I love rock music, especially live. I have seen three great concerts when I lived in the U.K. and several here in the U.S. At first, I wanted to do an actual band but am not sure of the legalities therein, so instead, I designed my own characters and background. The curve in the back wall as well as the fans in the foreground (mostly hands) were difficult for me to get right. A couple of my favorite details are the images on the cameras the fans are holding.
