Wild Boar Leather Belt

BOAR LEATHER BELTS (1.5-INCH):  As part of the Feral Swine collaboration, we partnered with Bad Leather Goods to offer a belt made from wild boar leather. It is a wide cut heritage belt with a solid buckle, built for everyday wear. A great match for the Feral Swine boots and a natural fit with denim and casual pants. THE LEATHER: Both the Jabari Boar and Waxy Boar are sourced directly from the Southeastern U.S. These boar hides undergo a rigorous process to create a softer leather that is ideal for a variety of leather goods.  The Jabari tannage offers enhanced temper, consistent weight, and balanced oil content. It’s a full grain, so it’s smoother but shows more character and scars. The Waxy Boar tannage is a little more velvety to the touch because it’s been slightly buffed: Gallun Leathers uses sandpaper to remove a tiny part of the skin’s outer layer before rolling several layers of wax onto it.  This process slightly softens the appearance of the scars and follicles (don’t forget
