Most tend between one and four hectares of steep, shaded land, inherited from their parents and grandparents. These producers have an intimate knowledge of their land: how the rain moves, when the cherries ripen best, and how to nurture healthy plants without compromising the natural balance of the soil. Their work is grounded in their relationships: family, neighbors, and now,  direct connections with partnering wet mills, where their harvests are transformed with precision and care.
