Prius owners are highly recommended to change their rubber exhaust hangers when installing a Cat Shield™. After years of wear and tear, your hangers should be replaced to eliminate any potential rattling of the exhaust with the installed shield. The hangers are sold as a pair (2 hangers) and are quick and easy to install. If you had your converter replaced recently, your installer may have added new hangers and you may not need these.
