Hildegard of Bingen: There is the Music of Heaven in all Things. –circa 1170 A.D.–Catholic Art Print–Archival Quality – Authentic Quote
This quote from Hildegard of Bingen is a mystical insight. God made the universe, part of Him is in all of it. It sings with the presence of Heaven! As an intense mystic, Hildegard would have felt this presence more deeply, but we can still get a glimpse as she points it out. Hildegard was a 12th Century mystic. She was an abbess, an author, an artist, a musician, an advisor to Popes, and many other things. She did everything. This painting is an illustration of one of her visions. She is represented in the lower left hand corner. The painting is usually called "Cosmos, Body, and Soul." As Pope Benedict spoke of her, describing her mysticism, he said, "Creation is an act of love by which the world can emerge from nothingness. Hence, through the whole range of creatures, divine love flows as a river." - NOTE: There is about a 0.25" inch white border at the edge of the picture, which should disappear in most frames - Printed on Archival Paper - Printed with Archival inks, rated to last
