Gianna Molla Art Print
Saint Gianna Molla was a woman of deep love. While she was pregnant, she was diagnosed with a disease of the uterus requiring surgery. The surgery would have put the baby's life at grave risk, as she well knew, being a doctor herself. Gianna refused the surgery. The baby lived, but Gianna did not, giving up her life for her child. This heroic woman died in 1962, and is a powerful saint for these troubled, anti-life times.Sue's portrayal of Gianna is done in the classic Madonna form, updated with her colorful style.
