Rain Shadow

This is an archival art print of my original work, Rain Shadow. This piece was inspired by a summer trip to Oregon's high desert. I always find it fascinating how quickly the terrain changes when crossing the Cascade Mountains. The arid climate east of the Cascades is due to a rain shadow effect. There is precipitation on the windward side of mountains, but the air becomes dry and warm when it descends the other side. I use a premium eco-friendly paper made from bamboo, cotton fibers, and pure spring water. Each print is signed. Prints are shipped in protective sleeves and rigid mailers.
