November 2nd Morning Mushroom Identification Walk

Join a mushroom walk and learn about the ecological functions of fungi, common edibles and medicinal mushrooms, as well as historic uses of fungi and present day innovations of these fantastic Fungi! Walks usually fill up, so it is recommended you sign up in advance. LOCATION:  The Catskill Fungi Mushroom Mural & Kitchen 8553 NY-28, Pine Hill, NY 12465 Meet promptly at 10am.   What to expect: We will start at the Catskill Fungi Workshop at 8553 NY 28, Pine Hill, NY, for a brief Fungi 101 explanation and an overview of what to expect on our walk. We will carpool to a nearby walk location, and participants will be able to borrow baskets, bags, and/or books to take with them as we head up the easy, wide trail into the forest to learn about the fungi we find.
